Fountain Avenue Kitchen: Shrimp Skillet with Asparagus

Earlier this year, we brainstormed a variety of marketing ideas. One big concept was reaching out to food bloggers across the country. The American Shrimp Company has sent our shrimp to California to New Jersey. For the remainder of the year and into 2018, we will be working with a few that are enthusiastic about our shrimp and company.

We are extremely excited to announce that we will be working with Ann Fulton, who is an accomplished food journalist as well as blog author. She is based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Originally, we sent her a couple pounds of our shrimp and she raved about them. She explained, “To me, the flavor seemed fresher and the texture more tender than what we are accustomed to eating (in the Northeast).”

Typically, her recipes are healthy, easy and fast, which are three components we always stress throughout our website and social media marketing. Naturally, this seemed like the perfect partnership!

In the meantime, we have been in discussion for releasing the first recipe. She has been busy developing a variety of shrimp recipes for the upcoming summer months. We are thrilled to say that the first one was published on her blog last week. She called it, “Sautéed Shrimp & Asparagus with Crispy Prosciutto & Parmesan.” Check out the recipe here.

Our next recipe by Ann is perfect for Father’s Day and throughout the summer. Stay tuned for that recipe as well as others by Chef Dennis Littley. We are looking forward to sharing them with you!
